A STYLISH PRESENCE AT THE SALONE DEL MOBILE
Smeg, an Italian company and a leader in the domestic appliance sector will be present at Eurocucina 2012, the most important international meeting of built-in kitchens and electrical appliance manufacturers inside the Salone del Mobile.
Visitors will be welcomed by Smeg inside the newly-designed stand with its revised squareshaped layout, istinctive finish and plant décor including delicate jasmine flowers. A space which highlights the personality of the items on display and helps to express their unmistakeable style.
The Smeg stand is dominated by ivory white, an expression of sober refinement and elegant simplicity, numerous Concept products are on display in various aesthetic styles: Classic, Linea, Cortina, Newson and Piano Design. The latest and most exciting Smeg products are installed in the walls and in island displays, they include ovens, hobs and dishwashers and the unexpected presence of an unique FAB28 fridge, universally recognized as a design icon, but with a surprising new design. As part of this carefully-designed innovative layout, there are 8 interactive iPad stations which allow visitors to find out more about the new product features.
There are a number of innovative ovens being exhibited which have a new, user-friendly Touch screen EasyGuide colour display. There is also a new 90cm oven with a Pyrolytic cleaning function, designed to make cleaning simple and quick. In addition, there are two ovens on display with refractory stone cavities for professional, slow and uniform cooking in your own kitchen at home.
As well as extending its range of ceramic and glass hobs, Smeg also proposes a new induction hob with two MultiZones, an extremely flexible multiple cooking solution, with four individual standard zones that operate independently or can be combined to create two large MultiZones.
There are many significant new features in the dishwashing range, including a new 45cm wash system, and a new series of 60cm professional performance dishwashers that can wash a full load in just a few minutes. Excellent results have also been achieved in terms of efficiency, reducing water and energy consumption to a minimum: top-of-the-range Smeg dishwashers wash a full load using just 6.5 lt of water thanks to the new WaterSave system, and they also achieve an A+++ energy rating which guarantees 30% energy savings with respect to standard A class appliances. Last but not least, a new compact dishwasher with 7 place settings measuring the same size as a 60cm oven so that it fits in-column and completes the kitchen with its coordinated Classic aesthetic.
