Introducing LHOV by Elica: The 3-in-1 Appliance Changing the Modern Kitchen

The modern kitchen is becoming more integrated, more connected and increasingly intentional in the way appliances occupy space.

Elica’s LHOV takes this idea further by bringing three essential functions induction cooking, oven cooking and extraction into one appliance. Rather than installing each function separately, LHOV creates a single cooking system designed around the way contemporary kitchens are evolving.

LHOV is an all-in-one kitchen appliance combining a five-zone induction hob, a combi-steam oven and an integrated extraction system.

Its linear 90 cm format is designed to integrate into kitchen furniture, with a continuous glass surface and no conventional handles or knobs. A 7-inch multi-colour TFT touchscreen acts as the central interface for controlling its functions.

For a premium kitchen, this means three major appliances can be conceived as one architectural element rather than separate pieces.

The induction surface features five cooking zones, including two bridge zones, with functions such as melting, warming, simmering, fast boiling and automatic pot detection.

One particularly distinctive feature is Cooking Flow. Different cooking zones can be assigned different power levels, allowing a pot to move from one zone to another while maintaining its pre-set cooking level.

This makes LHOV relevant not only for everyday cooking, but also for more elaborate preparation where several pans may be used simultaneously.

Below the induction surface is a 62-litre combi-steam oven with a temperature range of 30–280°C.

It combines conventional cooking with steam, air frying and specialised programmes. LHOV also includes a food probe, automatic programmes, multi-cooking functions and a wider cooking cavity designed to accommodate larger quantities of food.

The oven also features an automatic door, soft closing and a three-pane cool door, bringing convenience into the overall experience.

Perhaps the most distinctive aspect of LHOV is its approach to ventilation.

Its extraction system is designed to capture vapours and odours from the induction hob and the oven. Selective Autocapture can focus extraction on the active cooking area, while the system can also remove vapours when the oven door is opened.

The system supports both duct-out and filtering configurations, with an airflow specification of up to 1,100 m³/h and an A energy rating for ventilation.

LHOV by Elica will be launching at MMK this Desember 2026.
